School Project From Hell
Well it is that time of year that all teacher's assign school projects. I found out the weekend after Thanksgiving that Q15 had "TWO" school projects due after the Thanksgiving holiday that he knew about for almost a month. Yet, per the norm, I found out about them when one was due the day he was suppose to go back to school and the other is due this week. Of course, he hadn't even worked on them at all until the last minute.
Well the one that has already been turned in was in Science class where they had to build a car that would roll with ONLY food products. :errrr He got that completed and graded very well with the help of one of our neighbors who's son had to do the same project.
Well today, he is working on his English project :angry
He has spent all weekend trying to figure out exactly what he was going to do, personally I believe, this should have been figured out already, but what do I know I'm just the mama. So Q15 being the child he is decided he was going to make a mask.
Wait back up, the project required of him; he can either draw the Globe Theater with all the main character's from Romeo and Juliett. Or he can decorate a mask from one of the characters.
His brilliant idea is to paper macha *however you spell it* his face to obtain the mask and then paint and decorate it accordingly ~ HA!!! Yes there will be photo's and more to this story later in the day.
He has a friend over here putting the paste and newspaper on his face at this moment and I'm about to whip out the old faithful camera to count this as still yet another Kodak moment in our household.
At least things are never boring around this house ey??? :biggrin
WHO ARE THESE KIDS AND WHY ARE THEY CALLING ME MOM?

I'm sure its in the 'parental handbook' somewhere that you get all the photos of events like this you possibly can...so as to FULLY embarrass them later on...expecially to their own children *G*
